In this 1.5-hour workshop, Dawn from Designing Interiors covered topics surrounding harmonious and timeless design, creating spaces that incorporate balance and texture and how to get the most value out of your selections when working to a budget.

It was once again our great pleasure to represent all of our Exhibitors at this year’s Master Builders QLD Roadshow. On this occasion Tom was a solo act, but had lots of productive conversations with Builders who now understand that this is their Selection Centre.

With 170 people registered for the session, we had to break it into an 11am and another 2pm session. Stuart shared the basics of how to breathe new life into a tired piece of furniture that you will be proud to keep in your home for years to come.

With years of experience, Marie.G shared her process on how to approach the Realities of Renovating. From forethought to making plans, changing plans, and endless decisions.

During this presentation, Elizabeth O’Neil, from Imperial Kitchens, did an outstanding job of discussing the most frequently asked questions when designing a kitchen. Her knowledge and experience shone through, and everyone in attendance absolutely loved her presentation.

Via 5 Case studies, Clark from Crimsafe looked at how Stainless steel mesh screens were able to meet specific design requirements and became a multi-faceted solution for Hi Rise construction, transport infrastructure, emergency service infrastructure and residential fire protection.

In this all new seminar, developed here in AUSTRALIA, Regan from eXperienceONE addressed design features essential to the successful provision of a Smart Home.

With a big turn out, beautiful food & drinks, and amazing showroom presentations by Austaron Surfaces, Caesarstone, EGR Decor, Hettich and Schweigen, the second KBDI QLD Chapter event for the year was another huge success.

Dawn from Designing Interiors hosted this hands-on Moodboard Masterclass to share all her tips of the trade, educate on different materials and budget, and focus on creating your own interiors moodboard and colour palette for your project.

We had the distinct pleasure of seeing Brian Perez from Benjamin Moore Paints who is visiting us from the US in action. In this session he shared with us all about the latest upcoming trends in colour in decoration.

In this seminar architect, Richard Kennedy, discussed several examples of this design approach, along with models, photos of the finished work and typical cost plans.

On Saturday morning, Brett Adams, SEM Group Director with 14 years’ experience in the industry discussed new technologies like batteries and electric vehicles, and how they are changing the landscape of home energy in Australia.

It was our distinct pleasure to represent all of our Exhibitors as an event Sponosor at this year’s HIA awards on Friday evening. It really was a fun event which featured some beautiful projects.
