It was our great pleasure to represent all of you at the HIA Sunshine Coast Awards ceremony on Friday evening in Maroochydoore.

Our fabulous weekend team continued their product training with Caroll & Sam from Caesarstone, Belinda from Oliveri, and Greg from Remer.

Dawn Powell from Designing Interiors did it again with a brilliant hands-on Moodboard Masterclass.

An award-winning team of Building Designers took attendees through everything they need to know about embarking on tricky build or renovation projects.

Steve from Abodo & Dwight from Paradise Timbers shared the tools so participants would have the confidence to use timber in a way that’s beautiful and enduring.

Session 16 saw two excellent presentations by Terry from Cooltone and Andrew from Stratco.

In this masterclass, Adam from LimeTree Alfresco Zoomed in from Melbourne to provide a complete design guide on how to plan your project and many options for inclusions and layout to best suit your families lifestyle, from plans to completion. It was our great pleasure to host a dynamic and energetic group of NAWIC members who are all in on improving their own personal best.

With the introduction of industrial-chic textures into the bathroom space, Dan from Greens Tapware explained how far alternate and three-dimensional finishes have come. He also coverd new sensor technologies taking touch and touchless tapware from the commercial into the domestic domain.
Our thanks to Tyrone from USG Boral for his overview of class 9A and 9C requirements for fire, smoke, impact, acoustics, antimicrobial, and radiation protection in these classes of building under the AS/NZS standards.

This topic presented by Sandra from Hettich examined the case for intentional architectural design and construction of productive workspaces.

Andy from Queensland Timber Flooring shared his knowledge and experience to help attendees understand the maize of alternatives now available in timber flooring.

At Session 14 in this year’s ASPG series, Tyrone’s presentation focussed on USG Boral’s Sustainable Building Solutions whilst Jack from Ventair addressed DC ceiling fan trends in Australia, energy and performance matters.

The team at Hettich continued their winning ways with another inspirational Experience Days event, this time featuring expert Designers and influencers, Ania & Kasia from Zephyr + Stone.

It was a very early Thursday morning, but we are delighted to have worked with the Housing Industry Association (HIA) to host this industry trade seminar to recap major proposed changes.

The team at Hettich keep innovating. On this occasion, they brought a super interesting and engaging presentation by Kevin McCloud of Grand Designs to life via a video streaming event at the Centre.
