The Build & Design Centre is relocating from South Brisbane to our new, custom-designed building across the road from DFO at Skygate, Brisbane Airport, with opening expected in April 2027.

Our new building and renovation Centre will bring together around 70 world class building products showrooms across 3200m² with expanded seminar and meeting facilities to help you explore ideas and make product selections for your next project.

Our South Brisbane centre closes in November

Our last day open at 66 Merivale Street, South Brisbane, will be Sunday 15 November 2026.

The centre will be temporarily closed from Monday 16 November 2026 while we prepare for the move. We’ll share our confirmed April opening date and details about visiting the new location as the build progresses.

A purpose-built showroom for building and renovation

Our new 4,000 m² centre has been designed to give visitors more room to explore, compare products and plan their projects.

The new centre will feature:

• 3,200 m² of showroom space.

• 70+ exhibitor showrooms, bringing products and ideas together in one location.

• 51 on-site parking spaces.

Whether you’re planning a new home, renovating or selecting finishes, the centre will provide opportunities to see materials in person and speak with people who know their products.

Why we’re moving

The move is an opportunity to improve the experience for visitors and exhibitors, with purpose-built spaces for product displays, advice and learning.

Our new home brings those experiences together in a location that connects us with more of Brisbane and South East Queensland.”

The new centre will be located within the Skygate precinct, with DFO Brisbane across the road and Landers Pocket next door as familiar nearby landmarks.

Connections to major roads, including the M1 and East West Arterial, will make the centre accessible to visitors travelling from across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
