Design with Purpose
Tamica Lewis is a Queensland-based Building Designer and the founder of Tempus Design Studio, a practice specialising in residential Building Design and Interior Design.
Through her work, Tamica helps clients move beyond the idea of the “standard” home and instead design spaces that genuinely reflect how they live. She believes the most successful homes are not defined by trends or resale assumptions, but by thoughtful planning that prioritises what is truly important to the people who live there.
In this seminar, Tamica will explore how homeowners can rethink what is considered essential in a home, particularly in a time when construction costs continue to rise. She will share practical insights into identifying which spaces and features genuinely add value to daily life, and which ones are often included simply because they are expected.
By focusing on smarter planning, reducing unnecessary floor area, and designing spaces that can serve multiple purposes, Tamica helps homeowners create homes that are more efficient, more personal, and ultimately better suited to the way they want to live.
