It was our pleasure to host the team from James Hardie for a planning session as part of their National Roadshow.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, the team at Polytec put together a beautiful event which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Under the stewardship of their lecturer, Kim Fernandez, this group of highly engaged students just absolutely loved their interactive training sessions with Tina from Caroma, Anthony & Samantha from Austaron Surfaces, Bobby from Hettich, and Ian from Polytec.

Via 5 Case studies, Clark from Crimsafe looked at how Stainless steel mesh screens were able to meet specific design requirements and became a multi-faceted solution for Hi Rise construction, transport infrastructure, emergency service infrastructure and residential fire protection.

This group of students from Padua College received a real world education this afternoon, and LOVED the experience.

On Wednesday evening it was our pleasure to once again host the members of NAWIC for the launch of their 2023 Mentoring Programme.

The team at Polytec continued their highly successful strategy of engaging Designers in their showroom again last week.

In this all new seminar, developed here in AUSTRALIA, Regan from eXperienceONE addressed design features essential to the successful provision of a Smart Home.

With a big turn out, beautiful food & drinks, and amazing showroom presentations by Austaron Surfaces, Caesarstone, EGR Decor, Hettich and Schweigen, the second KBDI QLD Chapter event for the year was another huge success.

Dawn from Designing Interiors hosted this hands-on Moodboard Masterclass to share all her tips of the trade, educate on different materials and budget, and focus on creating your own interiors moodboard and colour palette for your project.

We had the distinct pleasure of seeing Brian Perez from Benjamin Moore Paints who is visiting us from the US in action. In this session he shared with us all about the latest upcoming trends in colour in decoration.

With a fantastic turn out of architects, designers and industry, Benjamin Moore launched their Colour of the Year for 2022 in style. Delicious nibbles and drinks, great music, beautiful colours, lots of chats and laughter and wonderful new relationships established made the launch of Raspberry Blush a spectacular success.

In this course Brian from Benjamin Moore discussed changes in colour perception among the elderly and explained how appropriate colour use and application of low- or no-VOC, durable, high-quality paint facilitates quality of life in all environments for the ageing.

The team at Caroma was very active last week, engaging with their “inner circle customers”. On Tuesday it was a Plumbers training session, and on Wednesday they hosted Tradelink staff for a training session.

In this session, Bobby from Hettich provided architects, designers and specifiers additional knowledge around the benefits of a functional and practical kitchen.
